How queer... civil partnership mannequins? |

Not only can queers get 'civil parnerships' but so can shop mannequins according the one branch of Burton in Norwich.
It may come as a bit of a suprise that sleepy Norwich (where people
look at you strangely if you're from a neighbouring county, let alone
black or queer) should be leading the way with queer issues. Not even
Europride tempted shop managers in London to adopt a queer theme for
their window-dressing.
We went down to have a look and snap some pics. The two male
mannequins are handcuffed together, one wearing an 'L' plate and the
other with a 'just married' sign hanging from his neck, and they stand
captioned 'For wedddings and...?'. Looks like they bottled out of
actually stating the obvious. Deputy manager, Dan Williams, said, “We
are trying to catch people’s attention with life-like situations."
