The
Facts about the Civil Partnership
The
first Civil Partnerships will take place before Christmas 2005, with
the government announcing an official implementation date of December
5th. To the delight of same-sex couples looking to make use of the
new legislation, the Civil Partnership Act will come into force on
the 5th, allowing for ceremonies to take place on 21st December.
But what difference will these new laws make to you? Is it
the same as gay marriage? Will these new rights enable gay couples to
adopt children? What's the fuss all about?
Pink
Weddings are proud to partner with National Legal Services the
largest home Will writing company that offers a wide range of
products to suit every need. They have trained staff on the Civil
partnership Act and have a dedicated Barrister studying all aspects
of the Act. Jaclyn Stevenson (Director) has been working within the
Gay community for 9 years and has studied closely the fact that the
Gay community has had no Legal rights, No moral rights and No next of
kin rights, until now
