The Dark Arts come to Southampton |
|
|
|
It’s not that often you get to see the Dark Arts in Southampton but you will at the Nuffield Theatre Studio Bar on April 25th.
This isn’t something you’d see in a Harry Potter book but a sassy
evening of cabaret songs and stories with Michele Moran who’s currently
appearing in ‘James and The Giant Peach’ but has also made quite a name
for herself on the cabaret scene in London. Michele will be joined by
pianist and composer Anne Lovett and David Langham.
The show will take you on a musical journey through the swinging sophistication of the 1920s to the present day with songs by composers such as George Gershwin, Stephen Sondheim and Tom Lehrer. The studio bar will be serving food from 8pm-9pm, so why not enjoy a plate of Tapas and a relaxed drink before experiencing The Nuffield’s exciting new venture into stylish late-night entertainment. Tickets for the show cost £6.
